Trail Lake View Luxury Cottage
            Retreat and Vacation Rental

                     Cottage Description
"You've thought of everything."  2006  "It's so comfortable and relaxing."  2007
Trail Lake View Luxury Cottage overlooks Upper Trail Lake at MilePost 29 in Moose Pass, Alaska. This is an opulent, stylish, fully-furnished 1300 sq. ft. cedar-sided country cottage. With granite counter-tops on hickory cabinets, and tiled bathrooms, you’ll enjoy lavish comfort. Guests appreciate the panoramic view of the lakes and mountains from the garden window in the kitchen, the picture window in the living room, or the south-facing wrap-around deck.

The house consists of:
        > Full Kitchen, including washer, dryer, and dishwasher.
        > Living Room with a large picture window
        > One bedroom with a queen bed.
        > One bedroom with two twin beds
        > Full Bathroom with bronze sink.
        > Sitting room upstairs with a full-size futon.
        > Half-bathroom upstairs.
        > Wrap-around deck with Adirondack furniture to enjoy the view east toward the lake,
            and south toward the sun.
The kitchen was designed with a peninsula facing the living room so you may cook and visit with your family and/or friends at the same time. Linens, towels, soap, shampoo, lotion, and hair dryer, as well as cooking and eating utensils, are furnished. A drip coffee maker, teakettle, and teapot, along with coffees, teas, sugars, and creams are provided.
The travertine floors in the kitchen, dining, and bathrooms can be cool sometimes, so bring your slippers. There's plush carpet in the living room and bedrooms.
Artwork by Alaskan artists Dot Bardarson, Karla Morreira, and Byron Birdsall decorate the walls.
Urethane spray foam insulation maintains warmth when it's cold, and cool when it's hot. One guest last summer thought the house was air conditioned, which it is not.
Consider this home a retreat where you can relax and just enjoy the scenery. There is a television with Alaska videos and a portable CD player with CD's. Telephone and DSL will be available for the summer of 2008.  Wi-Fi is available at my office, just ½ mile down the bike path.
